The Signorelli Company, a recognized leader in real estate development in Texas, announced today a new residential community in Waller County, Bluestem.

Minutes from Katy, Texas and a newly announced Amazon Facility, Bluestem is a 365-acre master-planned community conveniently located off the beaten path, yet offers quick access to the Grand Parkway, Interstate 10 and Highway 90. Residents will be able to enjoy several top shopping, dining, and recreational experiences nearby such as HEB, Target, Katy Mills Mall, Main Event, and family-friendly waterpark Typhoon Texas.

Bluestem is planned to feature over 1,300 single-family homes on various homesite sizes. The community’s natural setting will be preserved through 64 acres slated for miles of walking trails meandering throughout, reserves, green space, lakes, and creeks. The heart of the community is expected to include a 2-acre recreation space for residents to enjoy.

The community is picturesque, with wooded creeks and open green space making it an ideal place to call home,” stated Jeff Dewese, Senior Vice President of Land for The Signorelli Company. “Waller County is rapidly growing, quickly becoming a major destination to live, work, and play for families of all sizes.”

Students living in Bluestem will attend Royal Independent School District schools, which offers a free Early College High School program allowing students to complete an associate degree by graduation. “Royal ISD is thrilled about the growth The Signorelli Company will be bringing to the area with Bluestem,” stated Superintendent Rick Kershner of Royal ISD.  “We look forward to providing excellent educational opportunities and support to the future students of this community.”

The Signorelli Company intends to break ground on Bluestem in Q2 of 2022.  Price ranges and homebuilders have not been set yet for the community.
